Arizona eucalyptus burl — two bookmatched (unglued) pieces sold as a set. Lighter, more open grain than the denser pin burl sets, with nice flowing figure and that characteristic swirling texture. Some cracks on the larger piece — resin fills those. Heavy live edge on both. Headstock veneers, accent pieces, creative inlay work — lots of options for the right builder. Locally sourced from a rescued Arizona tree that had to come down.

No introduction needed. This bookmatched African zebrawood top delivers the full show — bold, high-contrast stripes of deep espresso brown and bright golden amber run straight and true the full length of the piece, mirrored across the centerline into a pattern that's graphic, geometric, and completely arresting. The color separation is exceptional, with none of the muddiness that can soften lesser zebrawood stock. Clean, straight grain, tight bookmatch, and a step-down offset between the two halves that will disappear entirely once the top is thicknessed. For the guitar or bass builder who wants an instrument that turns heads before a single note is played. Couple worm holes along the edge, but well outside of a standard body (see pics!).

Oregon myrtle at its most theatrical. This bookmatched/glued top mirrors a sweeping, large-scale figure across the centerline — bold ribbon grain swells into dramatic crotch-influenced contours through the lower half. Gold and honey tones are sliced through by a dark heartwood streak running the full length of the center, jagged and organic against the silky surrounding grain. Live edge remnants along the outer edges hint at how close to the heart of the tree this came from. A handful of tiny worm holes are easily filled and all but disappear under finish. For guitar or bass builders who want a top with genuine presence — this is it.
